Folly II - Tuscan
2 days
Wealthy landowners in the 18th century indulged the
renaissance of obsession with classical architecture by building
popular structures known as "Follies" on their estates
- outdoor rooms which could be used for an afternoon's picnic, a
respite from long walks in the hills or even, do we dare suggest,
a romantic rendezvous. Bluette is internationally acclaimed for
teaching her fabulous faux finishing techniques, allowing you to
complete a project that will be a gem in your collection. You will
turn the walls into terra cotta stone to complete the interior,
punctuated with traditional Tuscan tile wainscoting, and patterned
stone floor - with lots of architectural moldings and details to
give dimension to the exterior earth tone finish.
